Our Rock Creek claims are located a mere mile out of Lowman, Idaho. With its headwaters in the Sawtooth and Salmon River Mountains, the gorgeous Payette River runs 83 miles across south-western Idaho. A tributary of the Snake river, the Payette is known for its world-class whitewater and its gold. The South Fork of the Payette meanders right next to Lowman. Claims in this area are close to the famous Sawtooth Mountains. Geothermal activity is big in this area; after a day of gold mining, relax in a hot spring.
