Please read the following information about purchasing a mining claim from Idaho Gold Mining. It will help you understand what we provide by selling mineral rights and make our transactions and communications more productive. We aim to make the process of purchasing a gold mining claim easy and transparent.
- When you purchase a claim from Idaho Gold Mining, the following is included with each purchase:
- Mining claim 100% owned by you and in your name with a professionally completed Quitclaim Deed
- All filing including recording with the appropriate county and Bureau of Land Management (BLM)
- USGS topographical map of the claim
- Surface Management map of the claim
- GPS coordinates
- Additional copies of paperwork for annual claim filing requirements
- Instructions regarding annual filing requirements and ongoing claim management
- Upon the sale of a claim from Idaho Gold Mining, the appropriate paperwork will be submitted to the BLM and the applicable county office for filing. When payment clears, the claim will be quitclaim deeded to the buyer. All parties that had interest in the claim will transfer their interest out of the claim and the purchaser of the claim will be the sole owner of the mineral rights for the claim.
- At this time, payments can be made by money order, cashier’s check or cash. All transfer fees will be at the SELLER’S expense (please see our FAQs page for exceptions). The purchase price is not a down payment and there are no hidden fees. The price you see listed for a claim is the price you will pay in total.
- Keep in mind that each claim listed for sale on this site has been tested by us for gold content and no two sites are the same. If there is a claim that you are interested in but it doesn’t quite suit your needs, please contact us for further options. We may have other claims in the same area or around the same price range not yet listed on the website.
- For interested buyers who are not familiar with mining claim laws and requirements, contact your state and federal governing agencies for details. Be aware of the general guidelines concerning mining claim ownership. It is the buyer’s responsibility to follow up with the relevant governing agencies on any requirements for keeping a mining claim valid after a mining claim deed has been assigned to them.
- Boundary markers have been installed on each claim using GPS technology as required by the Bureau of Land Management (BLM).
